Messager de Vordense - Vasarely Bedroom

Hello and welcome to your room: the Vasarely Suite !

The Suite is named after the infamous Hungarian-French artist Victor Vasarely, who is widely accepted as the "grandfather" and leader of the Op Art (Optical Art) movement, and who has spent several years in the village of Gordes. His work entitled Zebra, created in 1937 - there is a copy displayed on the walls of the village of Gordes - is considered by some to be one of the earliest examples of Op Art.

The bedroom also features two silkscreen prints from Victor Vasarely, and the HERMES scarf that welcomes you into your bedroom has a drawing inspired by Vasarely hypnotic Zebra art work. 

In the Main Vasarely Bedroom, you will notably find:

• French queen size bed with 6 pillows (no feather pillow) and a flat sheet between you and the duvet cover
• SAMSUNG “Frame” 50 inches TV with access to several international channels (cable TV) as well as NETFLIX (please see dedicated instructions on separated leaflet next to the cable box), it also displays art work when not watching the TV, and making it look like a painting on the wall
• Safe box: you will need to reset and input your own code (instruction on separated leaflet)
• Wireless EPSON printer at your disposal in case you need to print out for instance our mini leaflets/guides of the area
• Portable DYSON vacuum cleaner
• First aid kit (Tylenol, Band-Aid, Zyrtec, disinfectant alcohol)
• 2 glass bottles of tap-water and 2 drinking glasses
• "Cubism" scent candle in its ceramic container with delicate “Fleur d’Oranger (Orange Blossom)” to set the mood (scent candle available for purchase)
• High speed Wi-Fi
• Ethernet cable to link your laptop to the fast-speed optic fiber for a super efficient work from Provence 
• European and US electric sockets so you don’t have the hassle to find the socket adapter for your electronic equipments
• USB sockets to charge your smartphones and personal iPads for instance
• Air Conditioning system with in-wall control terminal
• SONOS sounds system speaker (need to download the SONOS app to listen to your playlists and/or favorite radio stations on Spotify, Apple Music or Amazon Prime Music, or simply enjoy MAISON MESSAGER de VORDENSE playlists) !

In the Vasarely Dressing Room, you will notably find:

• Sofa convertible into a comfortable full size bed to accommodate last minute friends and family
• Antic children bed (18th century) for children up to 4 y/o

• Vanity desk for last finishing beauty touch, or can be transformed into an office desk with Ethernet cable, mouse, and headset available for a very efficient plug and work experience
