Cottage in Paris Saint-Honoré

  • 4 Guests
  • 2 Bedrooms
  • 3 Beds
  • 2 Bathrooms

Cottage Saint-Honoré is a 2-bedroom apartment and is ideally located in the center of Paris, a few blocks away from the Louvre Museum, the Seine river, the Marais, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Palais Royal, and Saint-Germain-des-Pres to name a few.

Enjoy the two private terraces, the quaint and quirky charm of a country cottage house sitting atop a 17th century old building with all modern amenities!

At your disposal is this romantic nest in the very heart of the City of Light.

THE APARTMENT

Enjoy the two private terraces - one large, one small - and the quirky charm of a historic building where the private doctor of Louis XIV used to reside.

The 55 m2 (approx 650 ft2) two bedrooms duplex apartment is on the 5th and 6th floors (in the U.S. this would be the 6th and 7th floors).

It is a walk-up flat, WITHOUT ELEVATOR, please do keep that in mind if you are traveling with several luggages.

The apartment can comfortably accommodate 4 people with one full size bed in each bedroom, and the sofa in the living room can be converted into a full size bed perfectly for two additional people to share.

On the 5th floor, you will find:

- a lounge area with the convertible sofa, a 46 inch flat screen LED with TV international channels (CNN, BBC, etc.) and NETFLIX

- a dining area to seat comfortably up to 6 people around the table

- a kitchen fully equipped

- a guest bedroom with a full-size bed and a small desk to do some work away from office

- a small shower room (towels, shower amenities, hairdryer are provided)

- a separate toilet (as it is customary in France)

- a large garden terrace where to relax with same lounge chairs that could be found in the Jardin du Luxembourg or Jardin des Tuileries, and a table to eat and drink wine alfresco overlooking Paris' rooftops.

The fully equipped kitchen comes with:

- full size fridge where you can store fresh food from nearby markets

- induction cooktop to prepare your own meal

- NESPRESSO machine and capsules, French-press coffee maker, selection of teas, MAGIMIX toaster and electric kettle for the perfect breakfast

- dishwasher

- microwave-grill oven to reheat your take out from French gourmet deli

- washer-dryer (there are two washer-dryer machines in the apartment).

Remember you are in Paris: space is a luxury. The bathroom is tiny, about the size of a walk-in closet, and is accessible via the kitchen. It is big enough to have a decent-sized shower, plus a vanity sink. The 5th floor toilet is separated from the bathroom.

You will enjoy the provided shower products from LES CHOSES SIMPLES, eau de toilette from MAISON FRANCIS KURKDJIAN.

On the 6th floor, at your disposal is a romantic nest under the roof: the master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom (shower+toilet), a kitchenette with a small fridge to keep your drinks fresh, a table with two chairs that can also be used as a desk if needed, and private little balcony-terrace accessible via a charming Dutch door.

It also has its own Flat Screen TV and SONOS sound system and its own washer-dryer.

The small balcony terrace on the 6th floor has a small bistro table and two chairs where you can enjoy a tea for two (or coffee, or wine, or cake, or snack . . . ).

After a long day visiting Paris, you can enjoy taking a nice shower and then relax in the living room watching TV, or snooze on the full size bed or surf the internet with your WiFi device.

If you prefer music, no problem, just download the SONOS app and enjoy your playlist as well as many internet radio stations via the SONOS sound system installed throughout the apartment.
